According to The Wrap, Dakota is set to star in Lakeshore Entertainment’s adaptation of Philip Roth’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel American Pastoral. Production will start next march in Pittsburgh.
“American Pastoral” follows Seymour “Swede” Levov (“McGregor), a legendary high school athlete, who grows up to marry a former beauty queen (Connelly) and inherits his father’s business. Swede’s seemingly perfect life shatters when his daughter Merry (Fanning) rebels by becoming a revolutionary and commits a deadly act of political terrorism during the Vietnam War. SOURCE

Exciting news everyone! Dakota’s film, The Motel Life will be available via Movies On Demand tomorrow. The film will only be available for a month or two, so be sure to watch it! According to Deadline Dakota is set to star in an indie drama named Franny opposite Richard Gere, with Andrew Renzi directing the film. The shooting will begin in October 21 in Philadelphia

This may be one of the busiest fall of Dakota! Dakota is set to attend this year’s Mill Valley Film Festival on October to attend the premiere of her film Effie! These are amazing news!
Dakota is set to receive the Bell Family Foundation Young Artist Award at the National Arts Awards on October 21st, in New York City presided over by Museum of Modern Art! Congratulations to Dakota!
