Dakota and Elle will be featured on a spread of Vanity Fair‘s March Issue. I don’t know much about this article/spread yet, so hopefully we’ll get a better quality picture and article soon! Check the picture out in the gallery.

In other news, a few new interviews of Dakota have come out. They are really funny, and shows a more personal and fun side of Dakota. Enjoy!

“Yeah, for sure [I can be badass and good-girl]. For me, I’m the person that witnesses someone being rude at a coffee shop and I walk home, like, I should have said, ‘What’s your problem, man” You know what I mean’ I’m that person. I feel badass in spirit, but overall a good-girl, but badass is trying to come out and when she does it’s like ‘Woah! Where did that come from”” Dakota laughed to Refinery 29. “You know’ I think I’m a mixture of both things.” FULL STORY

A pretty cute interview of Dakota and Lizzie Olsen has been released. Read it below:

And you were homecoming queen, right?

Elizabeth: Oh yeah! You’re such an asshole [laughs]!

Dakota: [laughs] I didn’t ask for that! There’s no campaign. You get a list of every single girl and guy in the eligible classes, and they choose. And there are only about 115 kids in each class.

Elizabeth: Only! You still had to have a lot of people vote for you! Yeah, I didn’t win any shit like that.

Did you two have mutual friends since you went to the same high school?

Dakota: Yeah, pretty much our entire group of friends!

Elizabeth: We spent last year’s New Year’s together. I missed it this year, because I was in New York. We have a Valley “gang.” I don’t know if it’s a “gang,” but it is definitely a crew…MORE

Entertainment Weekly has also released an interview from Dakota. You can read it below:

Both actresses have also sidestepped the pitfalls that have entangled some of their young Hollywood peers, a fact that doesn’t seem to be an accident. “The only thing that this business is about for me is me doing movies,” says Fanning, who will next be seen as Effie Gray opposite Emma Thompson in Effie. “Nothing else drives me to do what I do other than the pure need to do it. So that has kept me totally sane. But I also think people are so quick to judge young actors, they’re so quick to criticize you for what you’re wearing to the grocery store. Who wouldn’t go crazy at that? Some people are not wired to have skin so thick, you know? But because I’m aware of all that, I try and remove myself from those situations as much as possible. When I’m not working, I just live my life in a way that’s honest and authentic and true. I do my best with that…FULL INTERVIEW

The interview also shows a clip of Very Good Girls, in case you havent’ seen it. You can watch it in the link above.

A new interview by The Wall Street Journal has been publicised. You can read it below:

How did you balance a character discovering her first love, but also someone trying to keep her best friend happy?

I think the key for this character is the internal life of her, because she’s with her best friend and she can’t enjoy it because she’s thinking about David, and she’s with David and she can’t enjoy it because she’s thinking about her best friend. It’s like your parents tell you, you tell one lie and then you have to tell five more to keep up with that one, and ten more to keep up with those six. It becomes a whole thing and it gets away from me, when that’s part of growing up and finding the truth. I think that’s what ultimately Lilly is all about. Finding her truth and learning that if you’re honest with yourself and honest with the people around you, you can find out who you are and become a true self. As an actor, I love so much having to outwardly portray something and internally going through something totally different. It was that kind of conflict that is Lilly.FULL

More reviews of yesterday’s screening of Very Good Girls have been released. You can read them below

Fanning, as always, suggests an interior life beneath her luminous delicacy. But none of the performances is memorable, including the miscast Olsen’s. While cinematographer Bobby Bukowski gives the film a warm summery sheen, the dramatic structure is so soft it melts…FULL REVIEW

Despite their glaringly obvious difference in age, leads Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen play the only virgins left in their high-school graduating class. For fun, Lily (Fanning) and Gerri (Olsen) enjoy silly stunts like rushing into the water at Brighton Beach stark naked. Biking their way home from this dopey adventure, they practically run over hunky ice-cream salesman/photographer David (thirtysomething Boyd Holbrook, who looks younger, but not that much). While Gerri declares herself smitten, it’s alabaster-pale Lily who catches his eye…FULL ARTICLE

With the opening of Dakota’s film Very Good Girls at Sundance, reviews will be soon publicised, being the New York Post the first one to put it up; Unfortunately it is not so good. You can read the review below.

PARK CITY — What initially looks like a lightly pleasing study of the friendship of two teen girls gradually dissolves into implausibly soapy crises that get resolved far too easily in “Very Good Girls.”
